We run a show announcment email mailing list, which anyone may sign upto using the "Mailing list" link at the top of every page;these are the emails we sent out for this production.

Preshow Announcement - Oct 5 2008

The neurologist, the wife, the mistress, the love child, the bestfriend, the sergeant, the sergeant's nephew, the chairman, the matron,the sister, the geriatric patient and a really big syringe - these aresome of the elements of "It Runs in the Family", a rip-roaring comedyby Ray Cooney, being presented by the Rangiora Players at the RangioraTown Hall. The play is directed by Garry Thomas, notable for his workwith the Riccarton Players amongst others.

Performances begin at 7:30pm from Wednesday the 15th of Octobercontinuing nightly until and including Saturday the 18th of October.Tickets are priced at $15. There is also a matinee performance at 2pmon Saturday the 18th of October, for which tickets are available atthe special price of $10.

Tickets may be purchased from Harrington Gemtime Jewellers, on theHigh Street, Rangiora, and from Kaiapoi Visitors Information Centre on(03) 327 3134.

Tickets are also available at the door prior to each performance. Ifyou are planning to pay on the door please note you must bring cash,we unfortunately do not have access to an EFTPOS machine at thetheatre.

Reminder - Oct 16 2008

"It Runs in the Family" opened on Wednesday evening, and has nowplayed in front of two audiences. The response to this show has beenterrific; it's a farce of the highest quality, and the audience areleaving grinning ear to ear and saying very nice things to our frontof house crew.

There's a review of the show in the Northern Outlook, which we'vereprinted on our website, and it's fair to say the reviewer loved theshow too.

So, if you've not booked already, come along and have your funny bonereset by this hilarious farce. You will not regret it. Full details onthe website, but the short version is turn up at the Rangiora TownHall with $15 in your hand and have the theatre night of your life. Orjust $10 for the Saturday matinee. You won't see a funnier, moreentertaining show this year.

And speaking of Saturday night - are you going to be abandoned by arugby loving other half? If so you now know what to do as analternative. However the rugby turns out, come to the show and win!You might even want to take advantage of the "Meal and Show" deal atthe Rangiora Brewhouse, just $35 for a two course meal and a showticket, see our website for the menu.
