Synopsis

It Runs in The Family is set in a hospital, more specifically in the doctors common room, just a few days before Christmas. Dr David Mortimore is is composing the speech he will give to a distinguished gathering of neurologists, a speech which may make or break his career. All he needs is a little peace and quiet to finish it

Unfortunately for Dr Mortimore, things happen to deprive him of that peace and quiet.

Aside from usual assortment of farcical nuts running in and out of doors mistaking everybody for someone else, Dr. Mortimore tries to fend off a paternity suit, an ex mistress, doctors, nurses, patients, and the police.

Will he ever finish his speech?
